[PODCAST] 5th Edition D&D Actual Play – Eberron: Heirs of Destiny 18

Welcome back, D&D fans, to Eberron: Heirs of Destiny! Jeremy Thomas, your DM as always, back to guide our heroes through another session of our Eberron Fifth Edition campaign.

Leading up to last week, our party was heading into the wild parts of southeastern Khorvaire to uncover pieces of a schema, pieces of a pattern for creating a magical artifact of unknown means. The journey had the added benefit of getting the group out of major cities, as they were the targets of some individuals who believed them to be the subjects of elements of Draconic Prophecy that named them as players or elements in major events of some sort.

The group ventured into an ancient Cannith facility in the Torlaac Moor in Darguun, quickly finding it to be overrun by insectoid creatures known as Kruthiks. Dispatching a swath of them — although one got away — they ventured deeper in where they found a room containing a group of giant floor tiles with words on them. Seth went and checked out the door on the other side and, believing it not to be trapped, tried to open it which unleashed a pair of Fire Elementals. A pitched battle was fought in which two healing potions were dumped onto a Fire Elemental. The group defeated the Elementals, left battered but still alive, and was left to decide where to go from there.
