[PODCAST] D&D 5e Actual Play: Lost Mines of Phandelver 14

January 11, 2017 | Posted by John Bates

The Lost Mines of Phandelver is the pre-built campaign that came with the 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons starter kit, it revolves around a pre-built party of four adventurers coming to the small mining town of Phandelin at the behest of a friend who is seeking the lost mines of the Phandelver pact, said to house not only untold riches that would help the area rise out of poverty, but also the legendary Spell Forge.

As a starter campaign, Phandelver is meant for four new players who can take their time and learn how to play the game and how to roleplay their characters. Instead, we used it for our GM, Sam, to learn how to run a game while the rest of us – all sixof us – did our best to make him regret that decision.

As such, what theoretically could have been a five or six episode series is now on it’s 14th episode, though it will be ending in the next few runs. So, you’re here just in time to jump in at the end and witness the start of our next campaign with this particular group – a 5E Eberron campaign!

As always, you can find the backlog of these here, at Podbean.
