PS Vita Bioshock Game Still Not Happening
IGN reports that the BioShock game for the Playstation Vita is still not in development for financial reasons.
Irrational Games co-founder Ken Levine announced the game during Sony’s E3 presentation in 2011. It was supposed to be a new game set in the universe.
He said: “I’ve got my fingers crossed that that’s going to happen because it’s something I want to do, but until somebody starts signing the cheques, there’s nothing I can do.“
He said that he isn’t involved in making deals and the funding for the game would only happen if it made sense for all involved.
Irrational Games is currently working on BioShock Infinite, the next sequel to 2007’s Bioshock, which was recently named by Digital Spy as one of the most anticipated games of 2013. It was originally set for release in October of last year but had several delays. It will now be released on March 26 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
