In an interview with MMA Junkie, Alline Serio (9-5) spoke about having her Invicta FC 17 opponent switched at the last minute. She was scheduled to fight Mizuki Inoue (11-4), but will now fight Kaline Medeiros (6-4) instead. The fight happens Saturday at The Hanger at OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California. It streams on UFC Fight Pass. Here are highlights:

On getting her opponent switched so close to fight night: “I’m very well trained. I’ll just dance according to the music.”

On how she approaches fights: “I’m not really one to try to feud with my opponents. What I have to show is inside the cage. I’m a positive person, and pretty shy as well. So it’s funny that I’ve chosen a profession that forces me to be the center of attraction. Little by little, I’ve learned to deal with my shyness. And I have a lot of faith in my potential as a fighter.”

On getting to Invicta: “I’ve worked for a long time to get into Invicta. I can hardly wait. I want to show everyone why I’m here. I want show Invicta that they’ll have no regrets. I’ll be their best acquisition. I’m also a little anxious to fight outside Brazil for the first time, but I’m very happy too. It’s a big step in my career. Now I just have to show who Alline ‘Hannibal’ Serio is. Everyone will be pleasantly surprised.”
