Amanda Nunes is looking to defend her women’s bantamweight championship at UFC 212, but her top challenger says she’s not ready. Nunes took to Twitter to issue the challenge to Valentina Shevchenko for the June 3rd show, posting:
I see you June 3? @BulletValentina

Shevchenko, who last fought at UFC on FOX 23 where she beat Julianna Pena, replied back and said that her schedule won’t allow it. She said that a July show is a more viable possibility. The UFC has four shows currently scheduled for July:
UFC offered fight in Apr, you declined. Was told U would be back July. My schedule planned till July. Any where/anytime in July @Amanda_Leoa
