April 28, 2017 | Posted by
Bellator has added five new fighters to help kickstart their women’s flyweight division. The company announced on Friday that they have signed Alejandra Lara, Na Liang, Kristi Lopez, Sabriye Sengul, and Juliana Velasquez, joining the previously-announced Valerie Letourneau for the division.
“2017 has been a big year for us in terms of bringing in marquee free agents that can have an immediate impact on their division,” Bellator President Scott Coker said in a statement announcing the signing. “This group of flyweight signings demonstrates that we’re committed to that throughout our roster as we’re adding even more depth to an already-competitive weight class.”
There has not been any details about the fighters’ first bouts as of this point.
