Bellator’s Michael Page Says he Can Handle Anyone

April 26, 2016 | Posted by Larry Csonka

– Bellator’s Michael Page (10-0 MMA, 5-0 BMMA) recently spoke with mmajunkie.com, here are the highlights…

On welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov dominating Benson Henderson: “(Koreshkov) is a bigger person, and he’s very well-rounded,” Page said. “Benson couldn’t get to his legs really. And even if he did get to his legs, his hips are way too heavy. He’s a bigger guy, and he’s a longer guy. … Koreshkov is a very strong person. At the same time, all credit to Benson because he took some shots, and he stayed in that fight. Every round – which impressed me the most – every round that he came out, he looked like he just started again. It was like he reset the clock and went in again. He just didn’t have a game plan for a guy with that height and that size.”

On his improvement: “I always say it’s what people want to see,” he said. “I feel like I’m improving a lot more, and as you can see, my all-around game is developing. I feel like I can handle any of these guys.”
