Brett Johns Details His Preparation Before UFC Fight Night 113
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Brett Johns spoke about his training before his UFC Fight Night 113 win over bantamweight Albert Morales. Here are highlights:
On his training: “People don’t realize this, but it’s been a 20-week camp. I trained for London (UFC Fight Night 107 in March), and it didn’t happen. And I didn’t take time off. I went right back into camp. This is my 20th week in camp. Like I said, I’m quite broken at the moment. So it’s nice to get some time off, but I’m hoping to get back in December.”
On how he felt during his entrance: “When I walked out there, it was as if I was fighting in Wales, and for that I’m really grateful for the Scottish fans.”
On who he wants to fight next: “I’m not a guy who can shout for anyone yet, but if I think someone who I think would be a good matchup, I’ll shout for them.”
