Brock Lesnar spoke on a conference call (via MMAjunkie) about his fight with Mark Hunt at UFC 200. Some highlights are below:

On his fight at UFC 200 almost not happening: “I wasn’t even sure if it was going to happen. But I’ve been training four or five weeks, and before my call to (UFC President) Dana (White), I wasn’t even sure this thing was going to happen.”

On nearly fighting at UFC 205: “We had talked and maybe thought we could put something together by November for New York…Hell, I’ll fight whenever the money’s right, and we took it to the 11th hour, and that’s where we’re at. It was short notice for me and for him, so we’ll see what happens on the 9th.”

On coming back into the heavyweight division: “The average age is 35, 36 years old. I’m a competitor, and I’ll be a competitor probably in the nursing home racing my wheelchair around.”
