Conor McGregor & Demetrious Johnson Nominated For ESPY Awards

+Conor McGregor & Demetrious Johnson have earned nominations in the 2017 ESPY Awards. The sports awards show announced the nominations on Wednesday, with Johnson and McGregor both being nominated for Best Fighter. McGregor was also nominated for Best International Athlete.
The competition for the two in Best Fighter come from boxers Terence Crawford, Gennady Golovkin and Andre Ward. Meanwhile, McGregor is up against boxer Canelo Alvarez, runner Usain Bolt, swimmer Katinka Hosszu and soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo.
Voting is now underway for the ESPYs, with the show taking place on July 12th and airing live on ABC.
