May 2, 2016 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Conor McGregor took shots at UFC 200’s chances for a record-breaking buyrate while responding to fans on Twitter today. McGregor, who was pulled from the card late last month in a dustup that involved him objecting to doing a promotional appearance for the show, was asked on Twitter whether he thought the show would do “anything close” 1.5 million buys and replied:

McGregor also replied to some of his naysayers, telling a fan who claimed that UFC 100 had the MMA PPV buyrate record with “Incorrect. I beat it by 400,000 buys. Which alone was 100,000 more buys than UFC 197 made IN TOTAL”

UFC 200 is set to take place on July 9th in Las Vegas, Nevada with a main event of Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier.
