MMA Junkie reports that if a third fight happens between Nate Diaz (19-11 MMA, 14-9 UFC) and Conor McGregor (20-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC), then McGregor is the favorite to win it. According to Best Fight Odds, McGregor is the -170 favorite with Diaz at +145. This means that a $100 bet on McGregor would get you $58.82 while a bet on Diaz would win $145.

The two fought on Saturday at UFC 202 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with McGregor getting a majority decision win. Dana White didn’t seem receptive to a third fight while McGregor said he wanted it to happen at 155. Diaz said he’s not considering any other bookings.

He said: “I’m not doing (expletive) until we go for round three. You won’t be seeing me until then. If they want to set it up as soon as possible, let’s do it. But I don’t think it’s a very good business move for him to be taking any other fights. He’s a businessman, so let’s see what happens.

When the two fought at UFC 196, McGregor opened at -300 and was up to -450 by fight night. For UFC 202, McGregor opened as a -125 favorite and closed at about -135.
