Conor McGregor Trains With Jon Lovitz to Become a Horse Jockey in New Series of Short Films

The Pegasus World Cup Invitational and The Stronach Group have revealed a new series of comedic “13th Jockey” shorts featuring UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor. In the shorts, McGregor is training to become the “13th Jockey” for the Pegasus World Cup Invitational, the world’s richest Thoroughbred horse. To become a jockey, he hires actor and comedian Jon Lovitz as his coach and trainer. You can check out the first short, directed by Frank Coraci (The Wedding Singer) below.

The four short films featuring McGreogr will be released via the Pegasus World Cup Invitational social media channels on January 4, 11, and 18. The final episode will air live on NBC for the race day broadcast on January 28 at 4:30PM EST.
