UFC President Dana White appeared on last night’s UFC 197 post-fight show on FOX Sports 1 to recap the card. Below are some highlights and a video of the segment.

White’s thoughts on Jon Jones’ return to the Octagon: “Cormier’s dying right now, wishing he was in there. I’m a firm believer in ring rust. Jon looked rusty tonight and it was good that it was OSP tonight. Now Jones knows what he has to do when he gets back in the gym. He went the five rounds. This was good for him.”

His thoughts on Ovince Saint Preux’s performance: “OSP’s stock went up tonight. He did very well against someone many people believe is one of the best ever. OSP has a broken arm. He suffered it sometime around the fourth round. I don’t know about Jones.”

White on Demetrious Johnson’s win: “I think he’s ridiculously, incredibly talented. He’s awesome. I agree with Joe Rogan that he’s the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.”

His thoughts on Edson Barboza vs. Anthony Pettis: “That was my prediction for fight of the night tonight. I agreed with the judges – I gave Barboza the first, Anthony the second and Barboza the third. Anthony looked like he couldn’t pull the trigger. Barboza looked awesome tonight.”
