Dana White Says Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier Will Happen in July if Jones is Ready

Dana White says that, should he be ready, Jon Jones will get a title shot against Daniel Cormier at UFC 214. White told ESPN that the fight will happen at the July 29th PPV if Jones is ready to fight by then.

“Cormier is available to fight on July 8, but that time-frame doesn’t work for Jon Jones,” White said. “Cormier already told me he’s willing to fight either Jones or (Jimi) Manuwa. If Jon Jones is ready to fight (by UFC 214) on July 29, we’ll see the Jones versus Cormier rematch finally.”

White said that if Jones needs more time, Manuwa will get a shot at Cormier, possibly at UFC 213 on July 8th.
