Dana White Says UFC Looking Into Cyborg Justino/Angela Magano Incident, Magano Issues Challenge

The Cyborg Justino/Angela Magana altercation isn’t leaving the headlines any time soon. Dana White said at the TUF 26 tryouts on Tuesday (via MMAjunkie) that the UFC is investigating the incident, which resulted in Justino being charged with misdemeanor battery after punching Magano over social media posts mocking her appearance.

“Obviously we’re looking more into that,” White said. “It’s very serious. We’ll see what happens. This is a thing that the district attorney and police are handling right now. There’s way more to that than just what am I thinking about.”

Justino allegedly punched Magano after an argument over Magano’s posts making fun of Justino’s face, which lead to the misdemeanor charge. The Clark County district attorney’s office is still deciding whether to move forward with the case.

Meanwhile, Magano — who said immediately after on social media that Justino would be losing her job over the altercation — challenged Justino to a grappling match on Twitter as you can see below:
