Donald Cerrone Out Of UFC 213 Due To Injury

June 28, 2017 | Posted by Joseph Lee

MMA Fighting reports that Donald Cerrone (32-7 MMA, 19-4 UFC) has been forced out of his UFC 213 welterweight fight with Robbie Lawler (27-11 MMA, 12-5 UFC) due to injury. Cerrone isn’t expected to be out for long, so it’s possible the fight will simply be moved to another card in the future. The UFC has yet to make an official announcement. This was the second attempt to make the fight happen, as it was Lawler who backed out when it was scheduled for UFC 205.

Champ Amanda Nunes vs. Valentina Shevchenko – for women’s bantamweight title
Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker – for interim middleweight title
