April 21, 2017 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Frank Mir’s suspension for his anti-doping violation is official. The USADA announced that Mir has received a two-year suspension for his positive test for a dehydrochloromethyltestosterone metabolite after his loss to Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 85 in March of 2016. Mir’s suspension is retroactive to the provisional suspension on April 8th of that year, meaning he can fight again on April 8th, 2018.

Mir has yet to comment on the suspension.
