Gian Villante vs. Patrick Cummins Added To UFC on FOX 25

Newsday reports that a light heavyweight fight between Gian Villante (15-8 MMA, 5-5 UFC) and Patrick Cummins (9-4 MMA, 5-4 UFC) has been added to UFC on FOX 25. The event happens at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. on Long Island on July 22. It airs on FOX after preliminary fights on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

The two were originally set to fight at UFC Fight Night 12 in Albany last December, but Cummins had to back out a week before due to a staph infection. Villante ended up beating Saparbek Safarov with a second-round TKO in what was the Fight of the Night.
