Greg Jackson Says His Coaching Role on Bellator Fight Master Won’t Cause Problems with the UFC

February 8, 2013 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Greg Jackson recently spoke with MMAjunkie about his new role as a coach on Bellator’s reality series Fight Master and more. Check out the highlights:

On whether it will cause friction between himself and the UFC: “Like Randy (Couture), I’ve worked with Bellator before. My fighters are my fighters. I think it’s good for the sport. Even Dana (White) would admit it’s good for the sport to have other organizations around, so I don’t foresee any problems.”

On his role on the show being similar to coaching his team: “The important thing is you can help as many people as you can help. This gives all of us, really, an opportunity to help these young fighters, up-and-coming, that work hard and deserve to have a place to showcase their skills. It’s great that they have this place.”
