The original main event was UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson, which was scrapped after Cormier withdrew from the fight due to an injury. While not official, the source notes that Jose Aldo, who was the interim featherweight champion, will likely become the new featherweight champion; Pettis vs. Holloway was originally announced in October.
