Ian McCall Supports Drug Testing But Feels USADA Testers Overstep Boundaries

On Brock Lesnar Being Popped By USADA: “Duh, Brock Lesnar is on steroids. Duh, Jon Jones is on steroids. There’s the smell test. You look at the picture of Jon from so long ago to now and like, ‘Is no one else – am I (expletive) retarded? Am I the only person who sees this?’ “Those are the kind of things that need to be caught.”

On USADA Testers Overstepping Boundaries: “I enjoy the fact that they test people as avidly as they do,” he said. “They show up at my house, which is – you know, 6 in the morning, they test you. It’s what we need, but at the same time, they’re kind of overstepping their boundaries. This whole checking-in thing – the whereabouts. They have to know where we are at all times. “So I get a text message every night that says, ‘You’re going to be here at this time.’ One day I wasn’t here for afternoon practice, and the (USADA testing administrator) showed up and tried to yell at me – ‘You’re not here.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m at my (expletive) house, napping. The coach gave me the day off.’”

On His Response to The Tester: “‘How about you go (expletive) yourself?’” he said. ‘”I live half an hour away. It’s your job to get my pee, drive down and get it.’ It’s the fact that they act like they’re solving crimes. And there was also some sleazy old man with like a hairpiece and bad clothes. It was just gross.”
