Ion Cutelaba Thought His UFC Fight Night 110 Would Go Longer

June 11, 2017 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Ion Cutelaba spoke with MMAjunkie after beating Henrique da Silva on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 110. Highlights are below:

On the quick win: “I knew what to expect from myself. I know how strong of a fighter I am, but I expected my opponent to stay (in the fight) a little longer – at least a half minute or minute.”

On his goals: “You should remember my name, because I’ll be the next UFC champion. I’m still young. I’m only 23. There’s still lots of time. I’m still quite inexperienced. No one has a chance. I’ll be the next champion…The most important celebration is to hug my wife and my daughter. I called my wife after the fight, already. I’m doing everything for my family.”
