Jared Rosholt Doesn’t Sweat Online Critics

February 4, 2016 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Jared Rosholt spoke with MMAjunkie about his fight with Roy Nelson at UFC Fight Night 82. Check out the highlights:

On online criticism: “I block people who bother me. I reply to the people who are nice. For every dig I get from somebody, I get 50 compliments. So get a life. I’ve got better stuff to do than sit around and listen to this. … C’mon. Get real.”

On being in the co-main event: “I think it definitely makes it more exciting for me to be a little more involved in everything. I did it once in New Zealand, so this is another great experience.”

On Nelson: “I think Roy Nelson is dangerous all over. He’s a black belt (in jiu-jitsu) (and) he’s very agile. He’s a complete athlete. He’s a great fighter and very dangerous. I wouldn’t say he’s a one-trick pony.”

On his own skills: “I think I’m still developing. Everybody knows I need to work on my striking and get better there before I get a title shot. … I’m going to take my time and fight who they want me to fight. If I win here, someone in the top 10 would be nice.”
