John Moraga Wants to be the New Face at Flyweight

December 29, 2012 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

MMAjunkie Radio interviewed UFC flyweight fighter John Moraga this week. He faces Chris Cariaso at UFC 155 tonight.

Moraga on wanting to be the new face at flyweight: “I think a new face would be good for the division. One good performance, and I think I’ll be right in the mix.”

His thoughts on training with The Lab in Arizona, also the team of UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson: “We’ve got a great team. We all work hard. It’s a great atmosphere. I also still train at Arizona Combat Sports, but I’m back and forth between the two, and I still do a lot of my training at The Lab. We’ve got some good things going over there.”

His thoughts on Cariaso and how a win would give him six straight victories: “I’ve got Cariaso in front of me, and I know it’s not going to be an easy fight, so I’m focused on that. But yeah, definitely every time I come into the cage I expect myself to put on a great performance. Let’s see what I can do.”
