Jon Jones Would Like to Face Anthony Johnson in New York

Jon Jones spoke at the UFC 200 press conference (via MMAjunkie) about his fight with Daniel Cormier at the event and more. Jones said that he wants to beat Cormier and then defend the light heavyweight title against Anthony Johnson at UFC 205 in New York City on November 5th.

“I would love to beat up on ‘DC,’ and then face Anthony Johnson at Madison Square Garden,” said Jones. UFC 205 will be the promotion’s first show in New York after MMA was legalized recently in the state.
