Justin Gaethje Is Officially A Free Agent

FOX Sports reports that former World Series of Fighting lightweight Justin Gaethje is now a free agent. His contract with WSOF has concluded even though he’s their current lightweight champion after five successful title defenses.

It was reported back in November by MMAFightingthat Gaethje was considering testing free agency and now he can look at offers from other promotions. It’s unknown which promotions might consider going after him. Since he’s their champion, WSOF may be more likely to attempt to re-sign him, but due to the hype surrounding him, the UFC is also an option. He is currently undefeated after seventeen fights, finishing fifteen of them.
