‘JZ’ Cavalcante Wants to Win the Titan FC Lightweight Belt

– JZ Cavalcante (19-8-1) and Pat Healy (33-21) will meet at Titan FC 39 on June 10th (airing on UFC Fight Pass) for the Titan FC Lightweight Title. Cavalcante recently spoke with mmajunkie.com, here are the highlights…

On The Fight: “It’s been good. I fought a couple weeks ago in Japan in a new organization there. It was a good victory, it was good to be back to fighting. It was a while, a couple months without fighting. Now I’m back on track. Titan FC is coming up in June and I’m going to be fighting for the title against Pat Healy; I’m excited for the match. Healy and I have been veterans in this sport, we fought a couple times in Strikeforce. We were supposed to fight a couple times. It was a match-up where we knew we were going to meet each other sooner or later. The time is coming.”

On Winning The Title: “I don’t see, I know,” Cavalcante said. “That’s different. I know the title belt is coming. I have the space at my house. It’s going to fit perfectly in my collection.”
