Keita Nakamura Replaces Injured Kiichi Kunimoto at UFC Fight Night 75

The UFC has officially announced that Kiichi Kunimoto has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled welterweight bout against Li Jingliang at UFC Fight Night 75 due to an injury. Keita Nakamura has stepped up to replace Kunimoto against Jingliang for the fight card. The fight card is scheduled for next month in Saitama, Japan.

Nakamura previously fought in the UFC several times and went 0-3. He last fought against Rober Emerson, losing a split decision at UFC 81 in 2008. Jingliang is currently 2-1 in the UFC and looks to go on a two-fight winning streak. Their fight is scheduled for the event’s main card.

UFC Fight Night 75 is set for September 26 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The fight card will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 1. Prelims will be shown on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
