Khabib Nurmagomedov Said He Was ‘Used’ For McGregor-Alvarez Negotiations
In a post on Twitter, Khabib Murmagomedov complained that he felt used during negotiations for a fight between UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, which was confirmed for UFC 205 in New York City. It was previously reported that the fight wouldn’t happen because Dana White said McGregor was “hurt”, with the lightweight title shot going to Khabib. He wrote:
I have two bout agreements that bullshit champ refuses to sign. I got used the whole time to make Conor and Eddie get on their knees and beg
