December 7, 2012 | Posted by Joseph Lee

MMA Junkie reports that Marcus LeVesseur (22-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will replace Tim Means (18-3-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) at UFC on FOX 5 tomorrow after Means slipped in the sauna and was knocked out. He will meet Abel Trujillo (9-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC).

Dana White tweeted: “The UFC curse strikes again. Tim Means slips in sauna and KO’s himself so now Marcus LeVesseur vs Abel Trujillo.

He didn’t provide any details on the injury, but it probably happened as Means attempted to cut weight. The event takes place at the Key Arena in Seattle. The main card will air on FOX while the preliminary card (which will feature Trujillo-LeVesseur) is on FX.

Trujillo signed with the UFC after a four-fight win streak. He started his career at 1-2 before getting four straight wins, two more losses and then four more wins. Meanwhile, LeVesseur is 1-1 in the UFC, after beating Carlo Prater at UFC on FX 5 by split decision, but losing to Cody McKenzie in his debut. He’s 4-1 in his past five fights.
