UPDATED: Mark Hunt & Alistair Overeem Verbally Agree to Fight at UFC 209

UPDATE: According to MMAFighting, Hunt says he will take the fight if the UFC adds provisions in his contract to further protect him in case Overeem fails a drug test. Hunt was not happy with how things were handled when Brock Lesnar failed drug tests around their UFC 200 fight.

Original: According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Hunt (12-10-1 MMA, 7-4-1 UFC) and Alistair Overeem (41-15 MMA, 6-4 UFC) have verbally agreed to fight at UFC 209. UFC 209 takes place on March 4th at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
