Marlon Moraes spoke with MMAjunkie about his fight with Josh Hill at WSOF 32. Some highlights are below:

On the rematch with Hill: “He did his homework. He won the fights he had to win and has a strong name in WSOF. I feel it’s fair to give him one more chance. Let’s do it.”

On planning to give a great fight: “Everything changes in this new fight. We’re better fighters than before, and I think the winner will be the audience. I train to be the best. My focus is on myself. I know I have all the weapons. And together with my team, I’ve been honing all these weapons, and I’ll take them into the arena on July 30. My expectations are the best possible. We are going to defend that belt once again. I’m going into this fight feeling very well. I feel at my best. I want to go into it very well-prepared so that the victory will be a consequence. If I win within five rounds, great. If not, that’s great too. I know I’m ready to put on a great show, and the winners will be the fans.”

On his progress as a fighter: “I’ve matured as a fighter. I’ve learned from a lot of people in the nine years of my career. I had no amateur fights, so the beginning turned out to be a bit difficult. But with a lot of willpower and hard work, I got the hang of it. It was very difficult. But difficult things always have a special taste.”
