Michel Prazeres spoke with MMAjunkie about his fight with Gilbert Burns at UFC Fight Night 95 this weekend. Some highlights are below:

On his plan for the finish: “Without a doubt, my plan is always to get a submission or knockout. But I’ve been matched up against very tough opponents on my level, or sometimes even above me, in regards to technique. In this next fight, I believe I’ll get a knockout.”

On Burns: “‘Durinho’ is very good. I respect him. But my jiu-jitsu is as good as his. We’ve already put together my strategy, which takes his game into account. I’m well trained to face him. Regarding the ground, he could submit me. But I could submit him, just the same. We’re both jiu-jitsu black belts.”

On his goal: “My plan is to get to into the top 10 in the UFC. I felt I already deserved to be there.”
