Mickey Gall Says He Wasn’t Concerned About CM Punk at UFC 203

Mickey Gall appeared on this week’s Bischoff On Wrestling and talked about his win over CM Punk at UFC 203. You can check out the podcast and some highlights below; the podcast also features the third part of Bischoff’s interview with Hulk Hogan.

On whether he thought CM Punk had developed any skills that concerned him: “Not particularly. I know what two year guys are like. He’s a two year fighter. He said his biggest mistake was trudging across that ring aggressively. I think his biggest mistake was signing that paper to fight me. He fought the wrong guy. If he was going to do anything or show anything off he had the wrong guy. I beat him in all aspects. ”

On what message he has for wrestling fans who may have watched UFC for the first time: “Hi guys, I’m Mickey Gall. I punch people in the face and choke them. Check out some MMA. If you guys dig the violence. If you dig the action… as the UFC says, ‘This is as real as it gets.’ I hope you guys enjoy.”
