Middleweight Champion Mike Rhodes Forced to Withdraw From Main Event at Victory FC 53, Jeff Curran Replaces Him

MMAjunkie reports that the Victory FC 53 lineup has gone through some changes. Middleweight champion Mike Rhodes has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled main event bout against Ron Stallings due to an illness. Instead, Stallings will now face longtime MMA veteran Jeff Curran in the headliner.

Victory FC 53 is set for the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo, Iowa. The main card will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. Here’s the updated lineup:
