Mike Goldberg Comments on His UFC Exit, Thanks the Fans for Their Support

Former UFC announcer Mike Goldberg has released a statement on his Twitter account, addressing his recent exit from the promotion. Goldberg’s last UFC broadcast was UFC 207 last month, after having worked with the company for almost 20 years. There was some controversy among fans about Goldberg not receiving a bigger sendoff for his last show after working with the company for so long.

As previously reported, former WWE announcer Todd Grisham is set to make his UFC announcing debut starting at UFC Fight Night 103 on January 15.

You can read Goldberg’s full statement below. He even has a little fun at his own expense, referencing one of his old gaffes. Goldberg stated, “And just for the record, I still believe that Anderson Silva’s Precision is Precise.”
