Mike Ricci Says He’s Looking to put The Ultimate Fighter Behind Him

December 10, 2012 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Mike Ricci recently spoke about his experience at TUF 16, his fight in the finals at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale and more. Check out the highlights:

On trying to get back to a normal life: “I’m looking to put ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ and everything that happened in that house to rest…This is a high-pressure sport. Every time you fight, regardless of the pressures you have from outside from the public and media, at the end of the day when you get in the octagon, none of that stuff really crosses your mind.”

On training with Rory MacDonald: “He’s a very quiet guy, but don’t get him upset. I wouldn’t say he’s psychotic, but he obviously has two sides to himself.”

On his TUF 16 Finale fight: “I’m happy that I’m going to put a stamp on it. Even though I got out of the house, I always knew I was fighting in the finale, so I never fully let go. I always had an emotional and mental attachment to that place. I’m looking to finally put it to rest. After the finale I’ll never answer another question again about ‘The Ultimate Fighter.'”
