Paige VanZant Says Reebok Deal Helped Her Career

Not everyone is a fan of UFC’s sponsorship deal with Reebok, but Paige VanZant is. The strawweight fighter spoke during an appearance at the Women of the UFC panel as part of International Fight Week (via MMAjunkie) and said that the deal helped her turn to MMA full-time.

“Because of the Reebok deal, I was actually able to afford rent for my apartment to be able to train in Sacramento (Calif.) with Team Alpha Male,” VanZant said during the appearance. She also noted that her next fight is in the works and told fans to stay tuned. VanZant trains at Gracie Barra Portland alongside Chael Sonnen.
