– Peter Sobotta recently spoke with mmajunkie.com, and spoke about tomorrow’s fight against Ben Saunders at UFC Fight Night 109…
On How He Sees The Fight: “I see myself winning. I think I punch harder than him in the standup, and I think on the ground he has a really good guard and strong guard, so I have to avoid the guard.”
On His Key To Winning: “I think other than (his guard), in other positions I’m stronger on the ground,” Sobotta said. “Oftentimes you have top (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) guys fighting in the standup, but this is not my plan. Of course the fight starts standing up, and I will give my best, but I’m pretty sure sooner or later we will hit the ground and the fight will be decided on the ground.”
