Salaries For UFC 155 Revealed

MMA Junkie reports that the salaries for UFC 155 have been revealed. Even though Junior Dos Santos lost the heavyweight title to Cain Velasquez, he still made out with a hefty sum of money.

The event overall had a payroll of $1.261 million, according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission. It took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with main card fights on PPV and preliminary fights on FX and Facebook. There was an attendance of 12,423 people for a live gate of $3.286 million.

These numbers do not include deductions for insurance, licenses and taxes. They also don’t include money paid by sponsors, “locker room” or other discretionary bonuses from the UFC. They don’t include portions of the PPV revenue that some top-level fighters get. For example, UFC awarded bonuses to Duffee (“KO of the Night”), Moraga (“Submission of the Night”), and Miller and Lauzon (“Fight of the Night”).
