Scott Coker Addresses Brawl Between Paul Daley and Michael Page at Bellator 179

Bellator MMA President Scott Coker spoke to reporters after Bellator 179 (via MMAjunkie), and he addressed the brawl between Paul Daley and Michael Page that occurred after Daley’s main event loss to Rory MacDonald. After Daley’s submission loss in the main event, there appeared to be a cageside skirmish between Page and Daley that had to be broken up by security. Below are some highlights from the scrum.

Coker on Daley vs. Page: “I think that’s a fight people want to see; I think it’s a fight both those guys want to see. And if they want to throw down, we’ll put it together.”

His thoughts on the brawl: “This is something that just happened. Like I said, I’ll have to go back and talk to both of them, but if they both tell me that want to do it, we’re going to do it. … I think that (fight) deserves to be here, and maybe we wouldn’t wait so long to come back this time.”
