August 28, 2015 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

According to a report by MMAFighting.com and Dave Meltzer, UFC 190 is projected to have pulled in more than 900,000 PPV buys. The fight card was headlined by a women’s bantamweight title bout, with champion Ronda Rousey knocking out challenger Bethe Correia in 34 seconds.

Current estimates have the show pulling a little more than 900,000 PPV buys. That is the largest reported number for a UFC PPV event since UFC 168, which was held on December 28, 2013. It was headlined by a rematch between new middleweight champion Chris Weidman against former champion Anderson Silva.

This would be the third UFC even this year which is projected as pulling in more than 800,000 PPV buys. This includes UFC 189, headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Chad Mendes, and UFC 182, headlined by Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier.

It should be noted that the UFC does not officially release the company’s PPV numbers. The numbers and estimates for the PPV buys come from industry sources.
