UFC 208 No Longer Taking Place in California in January

The UFC has cancelled UFC 208 in Anaheim and moved the former UFC 209 into its spot on the calender. The company confirmed to MMAjunkie that with no fights official for the former card, it has been scrapped. Instead, the February 11th show in Brooklyn — formerly UFC 209 — will now serve as UFC 208.

The UFC has decided instead ot have its next Anaheim show be on August 5th at the Honda Center. Under the original plan, UFC 208 would have gone head-to-head with Bellator 170, which takes place in Los Angeles.
