UFC Alum Tim Hague Reportedly in Critical Condition Following Boxing Loss

June 18, 2017 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Former UFC fighter Tim Hague is reportedly hospitalized after getting knocked out in a boxing match on Friday. The Candian Press spoke with Hague’s sister after some social media reports claimed that Hague had died following his fight against Adam Braidwood in Edmonton for KO Boxing. The sister said he was alive but in critical condition.

Hague was knocked down several times during the fight and put him down for the ten count in the second round. He was out for several minutes before leaving the ring while Braidwood was being interviewed. Hague was brought to the hospital when it became evident that something was wrong.

The heavyweight fought five times in the UFC and had a 1-4 record, most recently fighting for the company in 2011 in a first-round KTO loss to Matt Mitrione. He has a 21-13 record in MMA overall.

On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Hague for a quick recovery.
