– Dave Meltzer recently appeared on The Law (via wrestlinginc.com), and stated that the UFC is hoping that Brock Lesnar can fight in December.

“They’ve got a budget and this year has been terrible. They want some drawing power for the end of the year.”

The promotion is also hoping to get in a Ronda Rousey fight as well as a Conor McGregor fight. The UFC reportedly wants a Brock Lesnar vs. Jon Jones fight, and Jones commented on the possibility during a Facebook Q&A last night…

“I would love to fight Brock Lesnar. He’s a massive dude. I mean, it would be a massive draw. Really big for the sport. It’d be a great challenge. That’s a big ol’ boy. I doubt Brock Lesnar would take that fight, though. I definitely wouldn’t try to wrestle with him the whole time. I would … you know what, I wouldn’t tell you what I would do.”

Lesnar was then questioned about the fight by the AP, noting that he would fight Jones anywhere, anytime…

“Would I fight Jon Jones? Anytime, anywhere. Right now, he should be worried about ‘DC’ on Saturday night.”

Lesnar, who announced his MMA retirement on Feb. 14, would have to reenter the USADA testing program for his suspension to end. He would then have to serve the rest of his time on his suspension before he could be cleared to fight.
