UFC Programming to Move to Sportsnet 360 in Canada

June 30, 2013 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

The UFC has found a new programming home in Canada. The promotion announced that their programming in the country will move to the new Sportsnet 360 channel when it launches on Monday. Sportsnet is a multiplatform brand owned by Rogers Media, with Sportsnet 360 unveiled earlier this month. The promotion plans four hours of UFC coverage including UFC Central, UFC Wired and UFC Unleashed, along with The Ultimate Fighter.

The promotion will include live main cards of shows that don’t go to PPV in the US, such as shows on FOX and FOX Sports 1, along with live preliminary coverage that airs in the US via F/X. UFC coverage was previously on a mix of Sportsnet regional stations and Sportsnet One in Canada.
