UFC’s Eddie Yagin Hospitalized With Brain Injury
According to mmafighting.com, UFC featherweight Eddie Yagin has been hospitalized with a brain injury. Yagin became woozy after returning home from a sparring session, and checked himself into a local hospital. Yagin’s manager, Jason House, had the following to say about the injury…
“He suffered it in sparring on Saturday. The injury was not the result of a certain strike or exchange. [He] came home, had a headache, started to vomit whatever liquids he drank and then decided to go to the ER the next day.”
According to Yagin’s family, doctors said he has swelling on his brain, which caused pressure and led to his headaches. While Yagin remains hospitalized, at this time, doctors believe surgery won’t be necessary. Yagin was training for his UFC on FOX 5 bout with Dennis Siver, which he has now been pulled from.
