Weigh-Ins For Bellator 86 Open To The Public

MMA Junkie reports that the weigh-ins for today’s Bellator 86 weigh-ins will be free and open to the public. The event takes place at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The main card airs on Spike TV after preliminary fights on Spike.com.

The main event is a welterweight title fight between champion Ben Askren (10-0 MMA, 7-0 BFC) and Karl Amoussou (16-4-2 MMA, 4-1 BFC). It also features a fight between Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (8-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC) as he makesh is debut against Przemyslaw Mysiala (16-7 MMA, 0-0 BFC) in the opening round of the lightweight tournament.

The weigh-ins will also take place at the WinStar World Casino (777 Casino Ave. in Thackerville) at 5 PM CT. Bellator cage announcer Michael Williams and broadcast analyst Jimmy Smith host the event.

Fighters stepping on the scale include the fighters in the season 8 welterweight tournament, which includes the following fights: Douglas Lima (22-5 MMA, 4-1 BFC) vs Michail Tsarev (24-3 MMA, 1-1 BFC), Koffi Adzisto (18-9 MMA, 0-0 BFC) vs Ben Saunders (14-5-2 MMA, 5-2 BFC) Brent Weedman (20-8-1 MMA, 6-3 BFC) vs Marius Zaromskis (19-7 MMA, 3-1 BFC) and Raul Amaya (10-1 MMA, 1-1 BFC) vs Jose Gomes (32-8 MMA, 0-0 BFC).
