Weigh-Ins For UFC on FUEL TV 8 Happening On Friday In Japan

MMA Junkie reports that weigh-ins for UFC on FUEL TV 8: Silva vs Stann will happen on Friday (Saturday in Japan due to the time difference) at the Saitama Super Arena just north of Tokyo.

The main event is a middleweight fight between Wanderlei Silva (34-12-1 MMA, 4-7 UFC) and Brian Stann (12-5 MMA, 6-4 UFC) and a co-main event heavyweight fight between Mark Hunt (8-7 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and Stefan Struve (25-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC).

The six-fight main card airs on FUEL TV at 10 PM ET Saturday (Sunday in Japan) after a five-fight preliminary card streams on Facebook and YouTube at 7:30 PM ET.

The first fighter at the weigh-ins will step on the scale at 11 PM ET on Friday (1 PM Saturday in Japan). Doors open at 10:30 AM JST. Before the weigh-ins, fans can take part in a Q&A session with Hatsu Hioki. He will answer questions at 11 AM JST. Doors will open to the public at 10:30 AM JST. Both the Q&A sessions and weigh-ins are free to the public. Fans can also attend an autograph signing that features Chuck Liddell and Glover Teixeira before the weigh-ins from 10 a.m.-noon JST on Saturday.
